A Passion for Cooking
When people first discuss cooking with me, the first question they ask is "what kind of food do you make?"
The answer is, "It varies." I change cooking style depending if I'm cooking for myself, for friends, for family, for meat eaters, for vegans, for a big crowd or an intimate meal. Generally I try to cook with "whole" ingredients, meaning that if I have the choice between a natural food or a processed one, I will always choose natural. I love tofu, tempeh, wheat gluten, beans and nuts as proteins. I base most of my meals around fruits and vegetables. I use rices, grains, and yes, I use pasta too. I create sauces with depth of flavor, and add seasonings that enhance taste without raising your blood pressure. Below please find some photographs along with sample menu plans.
